A note from Jamie
I set up Classy Games because being an adult is not always fun. I want people to rediscover the joy of play, and to remember what it felt like to play games as a kid.
Where did that feeling go? Responsibilities, work, bills, family, and constant stress can make time feel scarce. It is hard to find time to breathe, let alone have fun.
Gaming should be an escape, but today's market often offers two extremes: shallow games that feel empty, or games that demand a serious time commitment.
Classy Games exists to build something more approachable: playful, thoughtful games that respect your time and help you feel that spark again.
Classy Games started during COVID-19 in the UK, when people were lonely, isolated, and looking for ways to connect. I began making small, accessible, playful games for people who needed a short break from the crappiness of the world.
We later moved to the UAE, bootstrapped the studio, and grew into a known indie name in the region. Along the way, we worked with partners including Dubai Programme for Gaming, Dubai Future Foundation, Centre for Entertainment Arts, SAE College, Pocket Gamer, Mall of the Emirates, Adidas, and Under Armour.
That momentum pushed us toward our own IP and original projects, leading to partnerships in KSA with Exel and Merak Capital, who are now backers of the studio.
The mission has stayed the same: games should bring back that feeling of being a kid. Curious, playful, and fully in the moment. No bloat. No noise. Just thoughtful, polished experiences designed to spark joy.
Our vision is to be known for low-barrier, accessible, playful games built around short, satisfying sessions. Games that are easy to pick up, easy to enjoy, and friendly to busy players with busy lives.
Put simply: we create engaging games that ignite your imagination and bring out your inner child.
We value ownership and initiative. Everyone is trusted to think like a co-owner, act with purpose, and leave things better than they found them.
We value clear, reliable, and honest communication. Open voices, honest replies, and a reliable presence make the work better and the team stronger.
We value creative freedom. We make room to explore, courage to fail, and joy in the act of creation.
We value a player-first mindset. Players are partners in the experience, so we create with them, not just for them.
